Feraz Ozel performs at clubs, colleges, comedy festivals, casinos bars, bowling alleys and frat parties far and wide. He has opened for great talents like Donald Glover, Dat Phan, Ben Gleib, and countless others.
In 2010, he performed throughout Europe and won the Funzine Comedy Competition in Hungary, which led to performances in front of various international audiences. His diverse background and life experiences greatly influence his comedy. Feraz draws from his unique perspectives, along with his fun and energetic demeanor, to entertain audiences from all walks of life.
Feraz was a semi-finalist in the San Diego's Funniest Person competition and continues to be a local favorite. You can catch him performing at San Diego's premiere comedy clubs, including The Comedy Palace, the Madhouse, and The World Famous Comedy Store. You can also catch his monthly show LOL with Feraz Ozel at The Loft, UCSD. He is also a member of the Cool Party Guys sketch group, whose videos can be found at www.CoolPartyGuys.com.
To truly understand this man, and all he has come to be, one would have to start at the beginning. Feraz's voyage into comedy began at a very young age, because when you're an 11 year old boy with a great rack, you just don't get the type of positive attention commonly associated with such endowments.
His body resembled the shape of a pear. Once in a while, if he had a lite dinner he could see his penis in the morning, but on most days... he wasn't so fortunate. As a boy of this size the options are limited; you either be the funny fat kid or end up the husky boy used as a terrible option by girls playing "Would You Rather." Example: "Hey Beyonce, would you rather be a homeless hooker, or make out with the fat kid."
Feraz rolled with the punches of evolution and ended up the funny fat kid. Over time, he lost the fat but managed to retain the funny, which luckily for us allows him to act as the animated, quick-witted and fast paced comic we see today.
